The idea came from the Star Wars Infinites Return of the Jedi comic, in which Vader is actually saved by Luke and Leia and turns away from the dark side, joining the rebellion. In the last panel, he dons a completely white suit of his armor. I thought that was a neat idea, but the white armor was a bit much. I just wanted to give a little more "sith-turned-jedi" vibe from him, while I wanted to give Leia a little more "hot-in-a-tight-white-suit" vibe.
it does intrigue me on, if Vader was resigned with a white, or at least brighter, color pallet how would the helmet look to differentiate him from the half skull-half nazi war helmet look? More of a classic samurai or monk look? like a smooth white helmet with less skeletal features or at the least more softened ones.
Then again that might go against his iconic look in the first place. well, always speculation there I suppose.
That said, it would be fun to visually explore... Ugh, now I have to. I already have a few images in my head
Hi there! On May 4th I’m hosting an online event of Star Wars fan art. It’s not a contest nor is there any money involved or anything like that. Just somewhere people can mark the occasion by sharing art of theirs if they have it or just to look and discover new artists and their work.
I was wondering if I could include this piece? Of course I’ll be sure to include credit and a link to your page.
I fully support your "hot-in-a-tight-white-suit" treatment of Leia.
I can even see the awkward atmosphere around Han solo and 'Anakin.'
Han: "So... uh... you tortured me and froze me in a carbon tank!"
Anakin: "I was but the tool, the instrument of the emperor."
Han: "Tool my ass! By the way, I'm screwing your daughter."
Anakin: *Do not choke, do not choke, do not choke!*
Really nice job.
This is a great piece, thanks for sharing.
